Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the DEP/DVS computer support program, you must meet one of the following conditions:
The applicant holds a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent (e.g. attestation of academic equivalency) or a graduate diploma, such as a college diploma or a bachelor's degree.
The applicant is at least 16 years of age on September 30 of the school year in which he or she begins training and has obtained Secondary IV credits in language of instruction, second language and mathematics in study programs established by the Minister or has completed a teaching program recognized as equivalent.
The applicant is at least 18 years old at the time of the training and possesses the prerequisites, namely the successful completion of the general development test as well as the specific prerequisites for the DEP/DVS IT support program, that is language of instruction
The person has obtained Secondary III credits in language of instruction, second language and mathematics in study programs established by the Minister and will continue his or her general education simultaneously with his or her vocational training to obtain the Secondary IV credits that are lacking in language of instruction and mathematics in study programs established by the Minister. In this case, we will have the student sign an agreement.
